- People of all ages and abilities can compete (but please note that children must be accompanied by an adult)
Are you just a beginner? Don’t worry, we’ll teach you! It’s easy to learn.
Are you an expert? Then you can choose to play socially just for fun or competitively in club tournaments and matches against other clubs.
No equipment? Don’t worry, as long as you have a pair of flat soled shoes we have everything else you need to take part.
We are offering regular taster sessions during April and May 2026 so why not give it a try?
If you would like to try a taster session please register your interest by emailing us at tynesidecroquet@gmail.com Tell us whether you would prefer a Thursday evening from 6pm to 7pm or a Friday morning from 11am to noon. We will then get in touch with you, as soon as we can, to offer suitable dates.
If these days are not convenient for you please note that we are having Open Days from 11am to 3pm on Sunday 3rd May, which is National Croquet Day, and on Sunday 10th May as part of the Jesmond Community Festival. Just come along.
