The 2026 Annual General Meeting took place on Sunday 1st March. Derek Johnson re elected as Chair, Mike Solomon re elected as Secreretary, the post of Treasurer is vacant. The rest of the committee remained – Peter Lowe, Pat Memery and Peter Cartman with the addition of Judith McLane.
Mac Smith won the Tyneside 1 Ball Tournament. This year we sponsored the British Heart Foundation.

Our opening day was somewhat curtailed and only 10 members attended – most probably due to a “Battle of the Burger” event being staged at Wylam Breweries which attracted hundreds of visitors thus preventing easy access to our club. Perhaps we should have offered Hot Cross Buns as a battle of the clubs… at least the weather was kind! Apart from those below, other members attended throughout the day, namely Elspeth Pyman, Peter Lowe, Peter Cartman, Julie Scott, May Hall and Mac Smith who took the photo’s.
