Tyneside Quaich – Monday 24th June 2024 held at Tyneside Croquet Club.

Tyneside won the Quaich with 3 wins against Middlesbrough 2 wins and Belsay Hall 1 win.

  • The Tyneside Quaich was presented to TCC jointly by Bruce Rannie and David Appleton in 2008 which introduced a new 3 way club teams tournament between Belsay Hall CC, Middlesbrough CC and Tyneside CC. The format is AC Advanced with Bisques Alternate Stroke Doubles team championship with each club entering 2 doubles teams. The purpose encourages mid range handicap players who are ready to play AC Advanced being teamed up with an experienced lower handicap player already familiar with Advanced play by use of alternate stroke and bisques to gain knowledge of the different format of Advanced play to Handicap play.
